Academic Licenses

Apart from our Subscription Packages and Perpetual Licenses, DHI also supports research and teaching institutions through the provision of Academic Licenses (also known as Labkits) for academic staff and students at all tertiary levels. Academic licenses are offered in selected geographical areas only and are not available in China (including Taiwan and Hong Kong), India, Bangladesh and Iran.

Classroom Labkit
A Classroom Labkit license is meant for classroom teaching and is available as a Network License in multiples of 25 concurrent users. It features full functionality but is limited in size.

Classroom Subscription
A Classroom Subscription is identical to a Classroom Labkit, except it is available as an annual license.

Student Labkit
A Student Labkit is a free of charge license granted to students for pre-agreed purposes only such as for an undergraduate project, Masters/PhD Thesis, etc. Available as an internet license with one single user, it features full functionality with no size limitations. The license is time-limited, typically 6-12 months, however, it can be updated or extended upon request.

MIKE SHE includes all important aspects of hydrology when your project requires a fully integrated model.
