Aurecon is a global consulting, engineering, management and specialist technical services firm with an office network extending across 27 countries in Africa, the Middle East and the Asia-Pacific region. Aurecon water professionals and numerical modellers use MIKE software across many market sectors, including Water, Transport, Infrastructure and Environment.
The application of MIKE software within Aurecon (previously Connell Wagner in Australia) goes back more than two decades in Australia. In recent years, Aurecon has embarked on a systematic consolidation process to establish a large centralised software license on a network server to provide broader reach within an expanding organisation, in which specialised modelling skills are always in demand.
Mark Britton, DHI’s Global Corporate Relationship Manager, says, ‘Companies like Aurecon that have a demonstrated track record in applying MIKE Powered by DHI software on challenging projects across the globe can really tap into the benefits of a global license and support agreement. This agreement enables the sharing of licenses across different time zones and provides local support for products that may have been purchased elsewhere in the Aurecon Group.’
Talia Guest, Associate in Water Resources at Aurecon said the team was excited about the opportunities of this global agreement. ‘Not only do our regular users get simplified access to all our MIKE Powered by DHI software, we can now broaden our skills base geographically and get the support we need to do so. This agreement will expand our ability to deliver flood modelling projects for our clients across the globe,’ said Talia.
MIKE software continues to evolve to meet the changing needs of larger organisations. If you think a global approach to software licensing might benefit your organisation, contact DHI at email@example.com.
