Modelling shoreline evolution in 2D. Long-term shoreline morphology modelling in 2D environments poses a serious challenge in coastal engineering. In MIKE 2016, we're launching a new module: MIKE 21 Shoreline Morphology (SM).
It combines detailed 2D modelling of currents and waves with a constrained morphological model, making it possible to undertake stable and robust modelling of shoreline evolution in 2D environments. MIKE 21 SM enables you to undertake practical coastal engineering applications that were not feasible until now.
