FEFLOW Newsletter December 2006

Dear FEFLOW user,

We wish you a Merry Christmas, Happy Holidays and a Happy New Year. As a special Christmas present for you, with this newsletter we officially release FEFLOW 5.3.

The new version is now available for download from


Some of the new features are

  • full 64 bit support on Windows and Linux systems,
  • new mesh generator Gridbuilder,
  • new version of the SAMG solver supporting parallel computation,
  • inclusion of the georeferencing and geoimaging software WGEO®
  • new version of the FEFLOW Explorer.

All of you with a valid maintenance contract will receive their key codes for the new version automatically within the next days. A DVD with the new FEFLOW release and the updated printed manuals will be sent to our maintenence clients within the next months, after having tested FEFLOW extensively under the new Windows Vista operating system in its 64 bit and 32 bit varieties.

An introduction into the new functionality will be given on Tuesday, February 13, 2007 in our training center in Berlin.
