If you’re an existing MIKE URBAN+, MIKE FLOOD or MIKE HYDRO RIVER user, see how you can benefit from a MIKE+ upgrade – free with a valid Service and Maintenance Agreement (SMA).

Here’s what you need to know if you use:

MIKE URBAN+

  • Integrate, model and manage more water systems on one platform.
  • The GUI and workflows stay the same, so don’t worry about the learning curve.
  • Some modules are renamed to reflect their increased functionality.
  • More features, like SWMM and Water Hammer, can be added for increased modelling capabilities
  • Model manager modules (with and without ArcGIS) are cheaper!
  • MIKE+ can co-exist with older versions of MIKE URBAN+ and MIKE URBAN.
  • Some transversal modules can be used across collection systems, rivers and flooding challenges*.

*Some cross-domain functionality is not available in this first release of MIKE+ (MIKE 2021)

MIKE FLOOD

  • More capabilities are available, such as integrating collection systems with rivers and visualising unified 1D/2D results.
  • Some modules are renamed to reflect their increased functionality.
  • Model manager modules (with and without ArcGIS) are cheaper!
  • Certain add-on modules, like MIKE HYDRO River HD, give you free access to cool MIKE+ capabilities.
  • Older MIKE FLOOD versions can run simultaneously with the 2021 license.
  • You’ll still have access to MIKE Zero.
  • Some transversal modules—Rainfall Runoff, Transport and MIKE ECO Lab—can be used across collection systems, rivers and overland challenges*.

*Some cross-domain functionality is not available in this first release of MIKE+ (MIKE 2021)

MIKE HYDRO River

We’re rapidly developing the river modelling functionality inside MIKE+, but it’s not quite as comprehensive as MIKE HYDRO River yet.

So, for now, here are the updates you’ll get with this license release: 

  • Integrate, model and manage natural rivers with other water systems on one platform.
  • You get free access to MIKE+ Model Manager and MIKE1D Rivers.
  • More features are available to visualise results directly from maps without using MIKE View, and to handle bigger models with better performance and responsiveness.
  • Some modules are renamed to reflect their increased functionality.
  • Model manager modules (with and without ArcGIS) are cheaper!
  • Some familiar modules, like Rainfall Runoff, Transport and MIKE ECO Lab, are now in MIKE+ and can be used transversally across collection systems, rivers and overland challenges*.
