We participated at the Singapore International Water Week (SIWW), which was held on 2 – 4 June 2014 at the Sands Expo and Convention Centre, Marina Bay Sands at Singapore.
We were well represented by our colleagues participating from our Singapore, Denmark, Japan, Thailand and Vietnam offices. This gave our present and potential clients a clearer picture of our global expertise and localised solutions. 
We had our own booth and held both presentations and talks during the three-day event. A range of topics were highlighted, including wastewater treatment, industrial water and energy process optimisation as well as ballast water treatment. The various stakeholders from the global water industry showed keen interest in the wide range of products in our MIKE by DHI software suite. Products such as MIKE 21, MIKE SHE, MIKE URBAN and MIKE FLOOD were the crowd favourites.
“From explaining the latest features of many of our MIKE by DHI products to introducing them to our various customised solutions on offer, I think the SIWW was a success for DHI,” said Pierre Hoevelt, Regional Software Sales Executive – DHI. “Many of our clients are looking forward to the training programmes we now have as part of THE ACADEMY by DHI.”
Thanks to the event, we got a chance to meet with other industry players from the US, India, Canada, Japan, Zambia, UK and other parts of South-East Asia as well. We also look forward to strengthening our collaborations with our local clients like Public Utilities Board and Housing Development Board.
